Congratulations Sharon!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup millet
- 1/2 cup quinoa
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 2 large carrots, sliced
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3 medium white potatoes, cubed
Here's how to make them!
Rinse the millet and quinoa under cold water for a minute or so.
Make the stock, and peel and dice the potatoes. Peel and slice the carrots.
Put all in a pan and bring to a boil, simmer for 15 minutes or until all is cooked - watch the pan as it can stick if you're not careful. It gets very thick.
Let it cool a bit and use a teaspoon to drop blobs onto your dehydrator (fruit roll) sheets and pat them down a bit then they're not too tall.
Let them really crust over, then use a blunt knife (I used a butter knife) to scrape them up and turn them over and dehydrate until fully dried.
Instant doggie biscuits!
I used millet and quinoa as I always have some on hand, and because you say you use it in the Min Pin dog food that you make.
I have some photos for you too.
