Learn how to make dog food because your best friend deserves it, right?
It all began when a tiny black dog wandered onto our property. We live on acreage. My hubby and I had never seen her before; she was thin and looked anxious. We tried to coax her to us, but she was having none of that. Typical Miniature Pinscher - wanting to show us she was boss.
A few weeks later, at my dad's 80th birthday bash, hubby and I walked over to my brother and sister-in-law's house (they were hosting dad's party) and smack dab in the middle of the walking path was the little Min Pin.
She had a massive tick on her ear that was pretty much the same size as her ear. She had a smaller tick on her other ear too.
I cried on the spot.
Hubby ran back home and grabbed a towel.
He rushed back to us and we wrapped up the little doggie in the clean cozy towel and took her home. The Min Pin didn't flinch. We could read the relief in her eyes.

We drove around the neighborhood to see if anyone was missing a little doggie. They weren't. We came to the conclusion that she'd been dumped at the end of our road.
We took our little Min Pin to the local veterinarians for a check-up. She passed with flying colors and the vet couldn't find an identification tag under her skin. Oddly, she was wearing a bright red collar - at least the previous owners cared "a little bit." But her collar had no name tag. No address. Only a tiny heart pendant.
She was happy to be rescued. She makes our day. She completes our life.
It was around this time that wholesale commercial pet food makers were facing issues with dogs dying from tainted food. Something was up with their pet food (you think?). No way was I going to lose this little dog with its huge loving adoring eyes to bad canned dog food.
So I did some internet research and came across a young man's site who mentioned that you can make your own dog food. I adapted his recipe and came up with my own version: Chicken Chow Dog Food. I also created another version: Bow Wow Beefy Chow!
Guess what? Our doggie loves both of them and eats them every day, with zero complaints, and I get tons of licks in return. And her poop is now nice and firm - and doesn't stink!
So I have to ask you this:
Do you even know what's in your canned pet food?
Don't Take The Risk!
And after that rather frightening thought, I started making my own doggie dinners.
My min pin LOVES IT. Her vet says "She glows."

In our eBook or Paperback on Amazon, we'll show you just how easy it is to make! Shouldn't your best friend eat nutritious and delicious food just like you do?
Your dog (best friend) deserves it!
On a recent nail-trimming vet trip, the vet exclaimed "Your dog's in perfect health!" I just smiled inwardly knowing that's due to her diet. Our dog is lean, (but not mean), has a lovely shiny coat, and bright eyes.
Our Chicken Chow has the protein of real chicken (or beef) with added millet and quinoa.
We add fresh veggies and for added deliciousness: wide egg noodles. We show you the four simple vitamins we add to the mix to ensure your dog's good health. This food is so good that even YOU can eat it! (and I have... but then I get dirty looks from the Min Pin boss.)
It's easy to make. All you need is a saucepan and a pressure cooker. Don't have (or want) a pressure cooker? No problem.
Just pre-cook your chicken in a pan on the stove (or bake it in the oven) as if you were cooking it
for yourself (minus the salt and pepper) and cut it into small pieces.
Then use another large saucepan to make the rest of the recipe.
It's easy! Just add four simple vitamins to our Chicken Chow.
