Welcome - to issue 23 of
It's fast approaching "that time of year" again, and I must say that with each passing year, Christmas seems to get here faster and faster!
It's a shame that as you grow older - maybe your kids have grown up and have families of their own now - but the joy of Christmas wanes somewhat. Yes, you go through the motions of "putting up the tree", and the gift buying and wrapping... but still, there's something missing.
That "missing something", to me, is a lack of happiness, brought about by all the doom and gloom by the mainstream news media. It's hard to smile and feel that "goodwill" to all men when there's threats of nuclear attacks. It's hard to get happy when there's so much misery and poverty in the world.
But, as bad as things seem to be, we've got to keep on "keepin' on". We need to use our positive attitudes towards gearing America back to her roots. The great "one nation, indivisible" land she once was, sadly, is NOT true anymore. The current administration has done an excellent job of dividing our country, pitching one side against the other.
What's all this got to do with food dehydrating? As the battle heats up in Washington regarding the fiscal cliff, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that food and gas prices will increase, and inflation will take hold. Now's the time to stock some food away - just in case.
